  • The 1770 Art Show and Agnes Water Quilter’s Exhibition Opening Night and presentation of prizes and awards is on Thursday, May 22, 2025.

    The 1770 Art Show is open from:

    Friday 23rd May - Saturday 31st May, 2025 from 10:00am to 4:00pm

    Sunday 1st June, 2025 from 10:00am to 12:00pm

  • Exhibition opening night tickets are available for sale from April 1st via our event sponsor Bendigo Bank Agnes Water and from the Agnes Water Visitor Information Centre - 71 Springs Road Agnes Water.

  • There are a variety of artworks, including paintings, sculptures, photography, digital animation, textiles and drawing.

  • Yes you can choose to support an Artist by purchasing their work. Please contact one of our friendly team who will advise how you can purchase artwork via enquiries@1770artshow.com.au

  • Check out our Facebook page for information on workshops, artist talks, or guided tours planned.

  • Canapes are available during Gala opening night however food and drinks are not available during the exhibition. 

  • Yes, our venue is accessible.

  • We have covid safe policies in place. We encourage patrons not to visit our exhibition if they are unwell.

  • The quilting exhibition is only open to members of the Agnes Water Quilting Group. Please contact Lynne Tye on 0438725067 or Karen Thompson on 0417106884.

  • We offer tours for local schools and groups led by curators or artists, ask how to join via the Contact Us page.

  • We are family-friendly however all children must be supervised and accompanied alongside a parent or guardian.

  • Tickets will be available for purchase with cash via our event sponsor Bendigo Bank or at our local visitor information centre. Any unsold tickets will be available for purchase at the door opening night until sold out.

  • Unfortunately we must ask you to please not attend with your pet however we will of course accept assistance dogs.

  • Yes our team produces a printed guide with details about the artworks and artists.

  • Opening night is an occasion to be celebrated and we encourage smart casual attire for all.

  • Free parking is available at 71 Springs Road.

  • Unsold pieces are to be collected by the artist during outtake. Any unclaimed artworks will be stored at a fee to the artist.
